Amen. Take an anatomy class, understand biomechanics, and really inhabit your moving self. Understand especially its peculiarities. Live IN your body. LISTEN to it.
* i should add that i think everyone should try yoga, and enjoy it. but it’s not a competition of how far your leg can go behind your ear. i mean, who cares.
